Rapid Relief From Snoring

The highest percentage of people who snore are referred to as "mouth snorers" . The fundamental cause of this acoustic effect is "palatal flutter; a vibration of the flaccid soft tissues of the oropharynx. The safe and effective tightening of this tissue can reduce palatal flutter and increase airway volume. Increasing airway volume can in turn deliver multiple benefits to overall health and a better nights sleep can improve daytime concentration, mood, energy and awareness, facilitating an overall improvement in quality of life!

How Does Fractional CO₂ Laser Therapy Work?

Validated by the foundations of science and decades of evidenced based research, the micro-ablative fractional CO₂ (10,600 nm) laser wavelength selectively stimulates specific metabolic processes and corresponding morphological changes. Gentle micro-pulses of laser energy are delivered to the target tissue with precise control over power, depth of penetration, spot size and density ensuring appropriate energy is delivery while maintaining the vitality of surrounding tissue.

In response, Heat Shock Proteins (HSP) stimulate metabolic processes including collagen remodelling and neo-collagenesis, which results in a tightening of the flaccid target tissue and an elevation of the elongated soft palate, facilitating a corresponding increase in airway volume.
